This position performs Project Control activities for a mining & metal processing project, located in Safford, Arizona.
Principal Job Duties & Responsibilities
- Support the site construction manager to develop and maintain a construction execution plan as the basis for project scheduling.
- Maintain and manage the project construction schedule in Primavera P6.
- Verify contractor schedules with the project schedule, manage updates, and support site manager to drive timely completion of project construction.
- Develop or review progress reporting procedures and track construction progress and performance using Earned Value Method.
- Support project change management as needed.
- Other duties as assigned

Basic Job Requirements
- Accredited four (4) year degree or global equivalent in applicable field of study and eight (8) years of work-related experience or a combination of education and directly related experience equal to twelve (12) years if non-degreed; some locations may have additional or different qualifications in order to comply with local requirements
- Ability to communicate effectively with audiences that include but are not limited to management, coworkers, clients, vendors, contractors, and visitors
- Experience in construction scheduling and progress tracking
- Proficient in using Primavera P6
- Basic knowledge in cost control is a plus
