The Opportunity
Test Technician
The Test Technician performs routine tests in ESS and chemistry labs. Performs lab and equipment maintenance and housekeeping, including periodic preventative maintenance as assigned. Maintain a high level of quality and participate in ensuring a safe work environment.
This is a great position for an individual with manual dexterity willing to train and learn more about corrosion and chemical testing.
All training will be provided.

Your Challenge:

Ability to run multiple tests simultaneously.

Mounting, polishing, and saw cutting metal and alloy samples using hand tools and/or machines
-
Performing various tests on metal samples to determine strength, hardness, elasticity, etc.

Conducting chemical examinations of metals and alloys
-
Writing data reports based on the tests conducted
Your Expertise:

MS Suite
-
Comfortable operating computer powered equipment
-
Manual dexterity
-
Able to lift 20 lbs. without assistance
-
Basic lab skills – using scales, pipettes, etc.

1-2 years of related experience preferred
