Responsibilities

  • Planning for and provide targeted evidence-based therapeutic intervention for a variety of children on your caseload


  • Use of creative play & hands on activities & sensory approaches to increase client's skills

  • Consult with family/caregiver for development of home programs

  • Share and collaborate with other therapists

  • Complete accurate daily & quarterly progress notes and annual Planusing web-based electronic medical reporting system

  • Demonstrate positive rapport with families, caregivers, and staff

  • Evaluations (school-based & clinic/home)

  • Supervisors
    -weekly interaction to support assistants with therapeutic approaches and link activities to goals. Review and sign daily, quarterly and Plan of Care reports. In schools, attend meetings, communicate with team & families, complete IEP/MET documentation.

Requirements (by start date)

  • Arizona Level One IVP Fingerprint Clearance Card


  • Current license to practice therapy in Arizona (Speech- Dept. of Health DHS)

  • AZ Dept of Education (ADE) Certificate (Standard Speech Pathology preK-12)

  • CPR & Article 9 training

  • 1 year experience preferred (pediatric )
