WHAT YOU’LL DO:

• Assure all shift department functions are performed accurately, efficiently, and economically.
• Assist in development, documentation, and implementation of departmental procedures.
• Follow and complete the daily production schedule, including changes that may occur during the shift.
• Setup machine crews at start of shift and maintain machine production sheet throughput data on daily basis.
• Be engaged in safety, compliance, continuous improvement, and Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) as a routine part of the job responsibilities. Follow all department and plant procedures.
• Assist in maintaining a clean and safe work environment; perform random safety checks making necessary corrections immediately and promote safety importance.
• Continually review and assess manufacturing processes and make recommendations on possible improvements.
• Must be able to meet daily production standards.

WHAT YOU’LL NEED:

• HS Diploma or GED
• 3-5 years’ experience of supervisory experience
• 1-3 years’ experience utilizing a computer and basic Microsoft Office programs, such Excel, Word, and Outlook.
• 1-3 years’ forklift experience
• Must be able to work overtime and have a flexible schedule, when necessary.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, written and verbal, to communicate with all levels within the corporation.
• Reliable transportation.
