Coastal Ferry LLC in Virginia Beach, VA is looking for drivers to join our motivated team of 5-STAR non-emergency medical transportation professionals. We assist handicapped, disabled and elderly patients to their appointments and home from hospital stays in non-emergent situations utilizing a Stretcher or wheelchair.

Our ideal candidate is attentive, compassionate, professional, and reliable.

This position is Full Time: MONDAY-FRIDAY, 12PM-8PM.

Age requirement: 23 years of age or older (Insurance Requirement).

Able to pass DMV Motor Vehicle Record screening, background screening, and drug test screening upon hiring.

Responsibilities

• Drive safely in various weather conditions
• Navigate a variety of routes throughout the city while adhering to a time schedule
• Load and unload patients via wheelchair and stretcher
• Maintain van and equipment
• Clean and sanitize Van after every use
• Able to operate basic cellphone application functions
• Able to operate iPad with routing software

Qualifications

• Exceptional customer service skills
• Safe driving record (Required)
• Valid Driver's License (no DUI's, no license suspension)
• No more than 1 minor moving violation in last 5 years
• Capable of lifting up to 100 lbs
• Ability to work well under little to no supervision

• PASS (Passenger Assistance, Safety and Sensitivity)
• Defensive Driving
• HIPAA CERTIFICATION
