Very well-established Defense Contractor located near Los Angeles International Airport is looking to bring an experienced mid/senior level Mechanical Design/Drafter onto their Engineering team.

This Direct Hire Opportunity is not for everyone, there are very hard lines in the sand for the needed experience/skills listed below.

REQUIREMENTS (MUST HAVES / NON-NEGOTIABLE):

• 6+ Years' Mechanical Engineer Experience within the Defense/Aerospace Industry
• Very Strong design and design drawing/drafting focused background
• Experience working on electro-mechanical and/or electro-hydraulic systems designs
• 3+ Years' Experience in R&D
• Experience with 3D modeling packages
• Strong knowledge of manufacturing methods & fabrication processes
• Bachelors Degree in Mechanical or Aerospace Engineering
• U.S. Citizenship or Permanent Residency (sorry sponsorships not available at this time)

The compensation range represents a good faith estimate of what our client may pay for the position at the time of posting. Our client may ultimately pay more or less than the posted compensation range. The salary offered to the selected candidate will be determined based on factors such as the qualifications of the selected candidate, departmental budget availability, internal salary equity considerations, and available market information, but not based on a candidate’s sex or any other protected status.

Pay: $100,000.00 - $120,000.00 per year
