Our client in MI is looking for a Maintenance Electrician for their plant's machines. Our client is a leading heat treatment solution provider and experts who solve problems and provide diligent service!

Ideal candidate will have at least 2-3 years of experience and be able to assist in plant maintenance, coordintate maintenance activities, assist in overall maintenance, and inspect, upkeep, diagnose, and install equipment, machinery, and repair it.

responsibilities:

• Perform work involving keeping furnaces, machines, mechanical equipment, or structure of the plant in repair as well as active involvement in continuous improvement initiatives.
• Responsible for helping Maintenance Manager with functioning of all plant and nitriding
• equipment.
• Assist Maintenance Manager in effective "crisis management", e.g., emergencies, accident investigation, and equipment malfunctions.
• Assists in all projects relating to equipment selection, design, and installation.
• Assists Maintenance Manager in development of improvements in equipment utilization,
• performance and reliability.
• Assists Maintenance Manage to Coordinate and expedite activities of maintenance.
• Inspect, operate, or test machinery or equipment to diagnose machine malfunctions.
• Dismantle machines, equipment, or devices to access and remove defective parts, using hoist, cranes, hand tools or power tools.
• Perform routine maintenance, such as inspecting motors, belts, checking fluid levels, replacing filters or doing other preventive maintenance actions.
• Diagnose mechanical problems and determine how to correct them, checking blueprints, repair manuals or parts catalogs, as necessary.
• Repair machines, equipment, or structures, using tools such as hammers, hoist, saws, drills, wrenches or equipment as precision measuring instruments or electrical or electronic testing devices.
• Installing new equipment.
• Assemble, install, or repair wiring, electrical or electronic components, pipe systems or plumbing.
• Assist Maintenance Manages with overall maintenance requirements.
• Maintaining preventive and predictive maintenance programs.
• Assist Maintenance Manager in estimating costs to repair machinery, equipment, or building structures. Assists in ordering needed parts, supplies or equipment.
• Carries out maintenance responsibilities in accordance with the organization's policies and applicable laws.
