FUNCTION & SCOPE:
Reporting to the Business Systems Manager the student selected for this position will build an understanding of several key Research Foundation (RF) enterprise-wide applications, the related operational and project activities, and data management initiatives. The selected student candidate will provide assistance ranging from operational, departmental, and/or organizational initiatives, to project-level support, depending on each of the system or business needs. The student candidate should be able to execute assigned tasks from conception to completion in a timely and accurate manner as a key driver to the overall objective's success. During the internship tenure, the selected student candidate will primarily assist with tasks across three different applications under the Information Technology Services departments umbrella; 1) the content management system (RF Website); 2) data warehouse solution, and 3) Human Capital Management solution. Given the range of activities this person will address in this role it will be crucial that the individual have a collaborative disposition, to work with various ITS team experts in each area to identify tasks and objectives and follow up with regular status updates through various forms of communication.
