lives of their families. The Human Resources Business Partner II acts as a strategic advisor and
change agent, partnering with leaders to plan and execute HR programs that support business
objectives. The HRBP II provides proactive advice and support to optimize talent, including
employee relations, talent planning, compensation, performance management and employee
development.

  • Support engagement activities, maintaining communication boards (virtual and physical) and
organizing events.
JOB SPECIFICATION
Business Partner II positions will oversee specific areas of Human Resources functions as a
Subject Matter Expert. These responsibilities may be distributed as shown below. All HR
resources are expected to perform tasks as requested and assigned.
Recruiting/Retention Payroll/Benefits/Records
  • Oversee recruiting to attract top candidates
for a variety of positions through multiple
sourcing methods.
  • Drive targeted recruiting campaigns following
established hiring processes.
  • Maintain and manage current candidate
activity in applicant tracking system.
  • Manage internal job transfers and
promotions.
  • Manage screening of initial resumes, oversee
interview scheduling and interviewing of
applicants.
  • Coordinate background/reference checks
and other required assessments and pre placement screens.
  • Manage interview logistics including travel
arrangements and virtual interviews.
  • Oversee Onboarding including New Hire
Orientation.
  • Manage and promote employee referral
program.
  • Maintain up-to-date recruiting metrics, data
and reports as needed.
  • Track and report on turnover.
  • Investigate and address employee relations
issues, such as harassment allegations, work
complaints, or other employee concerns.
  • Oversee discipline to ensure consistency and
fairness.
  • Maintain employee records (new hire and
termination) adhering to state and federal laws.
  • Process employee-related payroll deductions
(garnishments, tax levies, child support orders,
benefits) with Corporate payroll.
  • Assist in processing unemployment inquiries.
  • Maintain leave of absence programs.
  • Manage verification of employment requests.
  • Ensure inquiries regarding paychecks, deductions,
leave accruals, direct deposit, and other concerns
are managed in a timely and professional manner.
  • Manage employee reporting (including regular
reporting and one-off data requests).
  • Provide benefit support to ensure employees
understand benefit plans and enrollment
provisions.
  • Assist Corporate HR team in planning and
administering annual open enrollment.
  • Manage HR audits, including benefits, to ensure
results are accurate and timely.
  • Facilitate benefit inquiries to Corporate to ensure
timely and accurate resolutions.
  • Maintain contact with employees and beneficiaries
to facilitate proper and complete utilization of
benefits for all employees.
  • Administer annual performance review process to
ensure timely completion and filing of materials.
Requirements
  • A Bachelor's Degree in a relevant field/equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • 5+ years' experience in a HR-related role (Manufacturing environment preferred).
  • Knowledge of employee benefits programs, recruiting, employee relations, HR and Payroll
practices/ procedures/policies/systems, and related laws/regulations/reporting requirements.
  • Ability to ask critical questions to prepare and interpret data and drive effective decision
making.
  • Ability to build relationships necessary to accomplish goals.
  • Strong problem-solving skills, with exceptional attention to detail.
  • Ability to communicate respectfully in a manner which results in mutual understanding.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality as necessary and requested.
  • Ability to use desktop computer systems and various software programs to retrieve, record,
analyze and communicate data.
  • Ability to work comfortably under pressure and meeting tight deadlines
