Job Title: Front Desk Receptionist

The Manhattan Reproductive Surgery Center is a fully licensed Ambulatory Surgery Center located in lower Manhattan, minutes from the World Trade Center. Specializing in gynecology and fertility, we are seeking professional and dedicated individuals with the ability to provide exceptional, and personalized care, in a fast-paced dynamic environment.

Job description:

· Work collaboratively with both the administrative and clinical staff

· Answer and triage phone calls with detailed, clear, and accurate information

· Assist with scheduling appointments and COVID Testing

· Assist in pre-operative confirmation calls for upcoming surgeries

· Assist with preparation of pre-anesthesia paperwork

· Greet patients and visitors upon arrival

· Provide as a liaison between various departments

· Perform a variety of clerical duties including typing forms, sorting, copying, faxing, filing, and other routine office functions

· Scan, update, and file medical records

· Perform other duties as requested

Requirements:

· Must have a high school diploma (additional medical office education preferred)

· Intermediate understanding and use of medical terminology

· Understanding of insurance processes preferred, but not required

· Ability to manage multiple tasks effectively

· Strong attention to detail

· Maintain a high level of professionalism with regards to customer service and patient confidentiality

· Precision and accuracy in the performance of all duties listed
