Field Support Scientist - Indianapolis
Location: Based in a home office in the Indianapolis, IN area

Wyatt Technology seeks to add a key member to its U.S. Field Support team based in Indianapolis, IN. You will be interacting daily with Wyatt headquarters and customers, via email, phone or in person performing preventative maintenance, installations, training, onsite repairs, IQ/OQ's and pro-active visits to our regional customers to make sure they continue to be delighted with their Wyatt instruments. Up to 70% of your time will be spent in the field, with a regional focus in the Great Lakes region.

Requirements and Qualifications:

We're looking for someone with excellent written and verbal communication skills as well as an excellent familiarity with basic lab techniques, instrumentation and software. Qualified candidates will have a minimum of a Bachelor's degree in Chemistry, Biochemistry, Materials Science, or other related field. Three (3) years of field experience would be a plus, but not required. Minimum one (1) year of HPLC experience or one (1) year of Wyatt light scattering experience required; experience with both preferred. Excellent organization, motivation, attention to detail, and communication skills are a must.

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $65,000/year in our lowest geographic market up to $100,000/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on several factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Wyatt Technology is a total compensation company.
