Fedex Delivery Driver – Willington, CT
An independent Fedex Home Delivery contractor in Willington, CT is seeking highly motivated and energetic delivery drivers for full-time and part-time employment to deliver to residences and businesses in territories near the terminal in a Fedex vehicle. No CDL required.
IMPORTANT: To be considered, you MUST meet the following 5 requirements:
1. You must have a minimum of 12 months experience driving a commercial truck within the last 3 years (Example: box or straight truck)
2. You must have a valid driver's license with no more than 2 moving violations and/or at-fault accidents in the past 3 years
3. You must be able to pass a criminal background check
4. You must be able to pass a drug test
5. You must be 21 years of age or older
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS AND ABILITIES:
· Must be reliable and responsible
· Load packages in morning and deliver in the pre-determined areas
· Ability to move and lift up to 150-pound packages
· Must have a clean motor vehicle record (CDL is NOT required)
· Must have strong customer service skills
· Ability to stand, drive and lift packages during entire shift excluding meal and rest period
· Ability, on a consistent basis, to bend/twist at the waist and knees
· Ability to communicate effectively with customers, vendors, and other team members on a professional and courteous level
· Ability to plan the route in most efficient manner
· Preferred to have prior experience as a FEDEX driver
