We are looking for an experienced and competent Dialysis Technician—Out Patient Renal to join the Mountainside Team!
Responsibilities
What You’ll Do
The
Endoscopy Technician will be responsible for managing the instrumentation, scopes and equipment within the service line with a focus on high level disinfection following best practices, assists the physician during the procedure and maintain a safe and clean procedure room. Exhibits the basic principles of handling equipment and scopes appropriately and keep informed of manufacturer’s instructions for cleaning and performing high level disinfection of scopes and equipment between cases. The successful candidate will be able to:
- Works in a collaborative role to facilitate patient safety. Ensures the work in the service line is following AAAHC and CMS requirements.
- Prepares the Endoscopy Suite before each procedure according to departmental policies. Responsible for the daily organization of instrumentation and scopes required for their services, including equipment that may be on loan, trial or consignment
- Passes instruments, scopes, equipment to the physician using proper technique.
- Cleans and processes scopes and equipment through either a high level disinfection or sterilization method in accordance with the manufacturer’s instructions.
- Demonstrated clinical/technical competency. Promotes staff, physician, and patient satisfaction.
