Highwire Public Relations is looking for a motivated and proactive individual to join the finance team. This individual will be working under the CFO and Accounting Manager on accounts receivable and monthly financials. The successful candidate will have 1-2 years of accounting experience, be highly motivated by the impact they have on the organization, and will work hard to build trust, earn loyalty, and influence better decision-making. This position is a regular, full-time position based out of our San Francisco office.
- Create monthly invoices according to company practices and submit to clients by the 5th of each month
- Review customer accounts for past-due invoices, identify delinquent accounts, and contact delinquent account holders to request payment
- Contribute to process enhancement efforts and improvement projects, work effectively cross-functionally, with efficiency and scalability in mind
- On a bi-weekly basis, distribute the A/R aging report to owners and the leadership team
- Resolve and negotiate disputes and handle any invoice discrepancies
- Ensure that all POs are aligned with SOW/Contract terms
- Partner with account leads on a monthly basis to track revenue streams
- Partner with finance leads to align on SOW/Contract/PO renewal dates
- Supplier registration for new clients
- Review monthly financial schedules, including but not limited to: P&L, Balance sheet (Accrued Income, Retainer, A/R)
- Bachelor's degree in accounting
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Meticulous with detail and strong organizational skills
- Able to multi-task and manage the time accordingly; working in a fast pace, rapid-growth environment
- A team player; demonstrates a high level of professionalism to colleagues, clients, and outside contractors
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office
- Proficiency in Quickbooks (Desktop version a plus)
- Experience in ClickTime is a plus
- Maintain a respectful, enthusiastic, and professional attitude towards coworkers, clients, and outside colleagues and lead team by example
- Support teams and manage up and down
- Responsible use of flexible work policies

The anticipated salary range for this position is $60,000 - $80,000. Salary is based on a range of factors that include relevant experience, knowledge, skills, other job-related qualifications, and geography.
