Description of duties: The Supervisor has general responsibility for coordinating and supervising all warehouse activities on a daily basis. Under the direction of the Warehouse Manager, the Warehouse Supervisor is responsible for supervising the receiving, warehousing, and shipping of product in a manner consistent with company service and cost objectives. This position also performs all functions of a warehouse worker and has additional duties as assigned.

• Receives instructions from the Warehouse Manager and/or GM
• Receives Customer requirements from office staff.
• Role model – including following all company policies and procedures.
• Promotes teamwork within all shifts and functions.
• Communicate with operators from other shifts.
• Must be able to read, understand, implement, and effectively train others on policies and procedures, standard operating procedures, and work instructions clearly and effectively for areas of operations, safety and administration..
• Supervise and coordinate unloading of inbound shipments, orderly stacking of product, and the picking and staging of outbound shipments in accordance with the highest levels of productivity.
• Ensures that all documents relating to shipments and receipts are filled out completely and correctly by the carriers and warehouse personnel.

• Ensures inbound and outbound shipments are accurate and free of damage.
• Maintains a clean, neat, and orderly warehouse including outside grounds.
• Conducts operations in accordance with OSHA and MSDS standards.
• Completes all necessary reports in a timely and accurate fashion.
• Performs cycle counts as needed.
• Fills in for other positions in department as necessary.
• Participates in meetings.
• Operates equipment in a safe manner and keeps work area clean.
• Other duties as assigned.
• Qualifications:2+ years Warehouse Supervisor experience preferred; Experienced leader with a strong background in shipping/receiving/picking orders/loading both trucks and containers for both domestic and international/Inventory Management. Also, experience with Air Cargo shipment preparation. experience operating an sit down and cherry picker; experience with RF Scanner and Cadence WMS; ability to lift and move up to 50lbs on a regular basis; ability to handle extensive walking; flexibility to work overtime; sharp attention to detail; Must be able to read and count accurately; be able to add, subtract, multiply and divide and write legibly. Ability to effectively work in a Windows environment with experience in Outlook, Word and Excel.
