Knowledge and Skills:
Experience
: One year to three years of similar or related experience.
Education
: (1) A two year college degree or (2) Completion of a specialized course of study at a business or trade school or (3) Completion of a specialized and extensive in-house training or apprenticeship program.
Interpersonal Skills: Work involves much personal contact with others inside and/or outside the organization for the purpose of first-level conflict resolution, building relationships, and soliciting cooperation. Discussions involve a higher degree of confidentiality and discretion, requiring diplomacy and tact in communication.
Other Skills:
Must successfully complete Teller I Product/Knowledge Training Guide within six months of hire date. Detail oriented, ability to use logic and good judgment. Ability to develop relationships with members and retain names. Skill and ability to use and operate a keyboard (typewriter), computer, calculator, fax machine, copier and telephone. Skill and ability to read and understand member statements, agreements, applications, computer printouts, manuals and other related materials. Must have the skill and ability to use Microsoft Word and Excel.
