The position is offered as full-time employment within HNS Sports Group assigned to be a member of Club Car Championship at The Landings Golf & Athletic Club tournament staff based in Savannah, Georgia. The Tournament Sales Associate will work with the Tournament Director, Assistant Tournament Director, Operations Director and Volunteer Coordinator as the tournament management team nucleus and will be supported by additional HNS Sports Group staff.
The job assignment description is as follows:
Primary Assignment #1
- Assume role as a sales representative with focus on selling pro-am, hospitality and sponsorship packages and programs within the Lowcountry region marketplace with specific focus on Savannah/Richmond Hill/Blufton and Pooler areas.
- Report directly to the Tournament Director, on a daily basis, work in coordination with Assistant Tournament Director, Operations Director, and Volunteer Coordinator in organizing the event and interact with HNS management and assigned staff with the coordination and communication with/to all contracted sponsors
- Assist the Tournament Director, Assistant Tournament Director, Client Activation team and HNS staff in coordinating all sponsor related contract benefits hospitality benefits, tickets, advertising assets, on-site branding, catering, pro-am, special events
- Utilizing Digideck, coordinate the sales and marketing collateral for all presentations and pitches
- Manage all sales contracts and process after client agreements have been confirmed
- Assist with management of the revenue report, utilizing excel, in conjunction with the Tournament Director, in order to track incoming and contractual revenue
- Manage and send invoices to clients after client agreements have been confirmed and received, utilizing Quickbooks
- Work with Tournament Director, Assistant Tournament Director, and other sales agents to manage the client relationships throughout the year
Primary Assignment #2
- Support Tournament Director and Assistant Tournament Director in the planning and execution of Club Car event business – including travel and onsite support
Primary Assignment #3
Participate as part of the event management team (tournament staff and support staff) which is assigned to manage all business, promotional and operational aspects of the tournament, including but not limited to:
- Revenue Generation
- Marketing / Advertising
- Community Events
General:
- Contribute daily with suggestions and recommendations to the Tournament Director & Assistant Tournament Director and HNS staff to ensure the event success
- Work to comply with all standards set forth by the Korn Ferry Tour
- Assist with the day-to-day management of all tournament related and non- tournament related activities throughout the year
- Support other HNS Sports Groups projects throughout the year as requested
Compensation:
- Annual salary
- Sales commission eligibility
- Self-Generated Lead - 3% of gross revenue o Referred Lead – 2% of gross revenue
- Renewal – 1% of gross revenue
- Annual performance bonus (measured by individual and company performance)
