The Teller/New Account position assists customers with financial transactions in a timely and effective positive manner. The position is responsible for performing routine branch and customer services duties. As a Bank Teller, you will also be responsible for providing excellent customer service and maintaining accurate records.

WHAT IS REQUIRED?
- A High School diploma or equivalent is required.
- Prior experience in a customer service role is preferred.
- Basic computer knowledge, interpersonal skills, and ten key calculators, and computer keyboard-by-touch experience are preferred.
WHAT WILL I DO?
- Receive and process financial transactions, including deposits, withdrawals, transfers, money orders, and loan payments.
- Timely and effectively handles these requests while providing a positive experience.
- Ensure accuracy and attention to detail when processing transactions and completing account documentation.
- Responsible for opening new deposit accounts, including checking, savings, and certificates of deposit, and IRAs.
- Assist customers with their account transaction needs. This includes deposits, withdrawals, savings, checking, etc.
- Maintain compliance and ensures consistency by balancing cash drawer and daily transactions and accurately posting transactions to customer accounts.
- Establish and follows the policies and procedures of the Bank.
