About the engagement:

JKA is driving a Procurement transformation with a well-known client.

This position requires significant engagement with internal and external stakeholders, as well as suppliers, to help drive initiatives forward. The work involves strategic sourcing, negotiation, contracting, purchase order processing, stakeholder management and spend management.

The candidate will be expected to support client delivery through analysis, contracting, execute RFPs, support senior sourcing managers/category managers across multiple categories.

Particular experiences in biotech, pharmaceutical and medical industries are required.

This is a full time position condition on acceptance by client’s team.

Responsibilities include:

Sourcing and Category:

· Partner with stakeholders in all aspects of the sourcing process, including requirements gathering, supplier identification; RFx management, supplier evaluation, and commercial and contract negotiation. Heavier emphasis on contracting in partnership with the legal department.

· Manage multiple Sourcing & Category projects simultaneously

· Adhere to Sourcing and Category playbook and policies in execution of all projects

Customer Service:

· Effectively communicate with internal and external stakeholders, clients, and suppliers throughout the project lifecycle

· Able to work well in a non-mandated sourcing environment

· Develop relationships with key stakeholders and business partners

Qualifications/Requirements:

· Minimum 4-year degree in business management, supply chain, or related field

· 6+ years of work experience, international/global company experience a plus

· Experience in client-facing or customer service role

· Excellent analytical, presentation, communication, interpersonal and influencing skills
Proficiency with Microsoft applications

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $70,000.00 - $90,000.00 per year
