Title: Hospital Social Worker
Contract duration: 13 weeks (Possibilities of Extension)
Location: Show Low, AZ
Shift: Day; 8x5| 40 Hours per week
Pay rate: $2,360/Week

The opening of Hospital Social Worker in Show Low, AZ has the Day shift availability. The shift will be of 8 hours & 5 Days. The job requires BLS Certified from AHA, CO-VID Vaccine Card. Recent 2 years experience is required as Hospital Social Worker.

Responsibilities for this job are:

• To provide psychiatric/detox emergency screening in the Emergency Department.
• Additionally will provide case management, and discharge planning for non-psychiatric patients.
• The Clinician is also responsible for obtaining insurance approval for inpatient behavioral health treatment, making sure that correct legal papers are completed and prepare other documentation as necessary.
• Maintaining administrative records related to emergency evaluations and case management.
• Close collaboration with ED physician and other staff members, psychiatrist on-call, and Behavioral Health inpatient units.
• Frequent contacts with: law enforcement personnel, EMS, Medical Center security, ED RN staff, and family members.
• SW Clinician – is also responsible to be part of the multidisciplinary team in addressing the needs of a behavioral health patient in medical floor by assisting in their treatment and ensuring that patient has appropriate discharge plan
