This position will be at a construction site in Stockton.

This is currently a part-time position, with potential to expand. Although flexibility is important, our goal is to maintain set shifts whenever possible. We try to be accommodating but we do look for people who take pride in their job and will commit to their assigned shifts. Hiring for various part-time shifts. Must be willing to work weekends and holidays.

We are a 24/7 operation. We all depend on each other. If you frequently take time off and/or call out unnecessarily, this is not the company for you.

As a Security Guard your main function is to help maintain safety of our clients' property/assets with the help of our 24/7 our security technology to provide Remote Video Security along with physical security to their sites. The job requires you be observant, focused, accountable, professional, friendly and comfortable working in a fast or slow paced work environment and able fit in and add to our exceptional team currently in place, have excellent observational skills and the ability to focus on the job.

You must be able to stay focused and invested throughout the entirety of your shift. This is not a job for someone expecting inactivity. You must remain active and moving throughout the shift, observing, scanning, reporting and in constant communication with the SOC.

CURRENTLY HIRING in SOC FOR:

• Graveyard, Sunday and Monday and possible Swing Shift

Qualifications

• Must have or be willing to get BSIS Guard Card.
• Must have or obtain 40-hour certificates for guard card training
• Ability to handle high pressure scenarios and keep composure
• Ability to be an effective team member
• Ability to maintain complete focus through entire shift of looking at monitors
• Courteous telephone manner
• Ability to adapt to various sites and changes in post procedures
• Ability to write routine correspondence, including logs and reports
• Good organizational skills
• Strong interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact effectively with clients, at various social levels, and across diverse cultures

Specific Duties and Responsibilities

• Provide excellent customer service to the client, its associates, and facilities personnel
• Generate work orders for maintenance and safety conditions which might endanger clients, its associates, and or public safety - including fires, evacuations, hazardous situations, or other facility related events
• Aid client personnel as needed
• Respond to all requests for assistance relayed by a supervisor or client; complete various company or client assignments as required; submit reports to appropriate personnel
• Responsible for ensuring that all employees, suppliers, and visitors on company property have proper company-issued identification
• Ensure that daily administrative documentation is always kept concise and complete; maintain all daily assigned equipment to be functional and in presentable condition
• Perform other related duties as required

Minimum Training and Qualifications

• Must be have strong work ethic and be able and willing to work with minimal supervision
• Some posts require the ability to sit and/or stand for long periods of time and climb stairs
• Must be available weekends and holidays if necessary
• Must be reliable and have outstanding customer service
• Must be able to handle stressful situations, emergencies and have the know-how to evaluate the seriousness and notify emergency services immediately when appropriate
• Must be able to write, and speak English clearly
