Who You Are:

The Security Associate is responsible for maintaining a safe and secure environment for residents, visitors, staff and protecting community property. The Security Associate provides personal care and non personal care assistance to residents when there is a need. Assists residents so that independent living can be maintained for as long as appropriate and possible. Promotes independent living activities while giving assistance to a resident.

Full-time: Work 2 shifts, 16 hours each (32 hours) & get paid for 40 hours. Hours will be 3:00pm - 7:30am.
You will only work 2 days & have 5 days off.

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS

• Ensure the safety and well being of residents and employees.
• Respond to fire, panic, and smoke alarms; notifying appropriate departments and agencies where necessary.
• Contact appropriate companies during maintenance and mechanical emergencies or situations.
• Assist residents and visitors entering and exiting vehicles when possible.
• Perform security lock procedures on apartments when required.
• Conduct interior and exterior rounds of Westminster property.
• Provide minor maintenance services for residents as needed.
• Keep Residential Health and Wellness Director and Supervisor informed on residents' status and communicate daily or as needed with other appropriate staff.
• Provide escorts to and from parking areas when required or as requested.
• This position may also be responsible for driving the associate shuttle for up to 4 hours per shift.

Previous Security or Concierge experience preferred.
