Overview:

A postdoctoral position is immediately available in the laboratory of Dr. Park-Min at the Hospital for Special Surgery, Weill Medical College of Cornell University in the New York City, USA.

Our lab focuses on identifying the pathways that control the formation and activation of osteoclasts, the specialized cells that break down bone, with the goal of identifying better ways to prevent the bone destruction that occurs in rheumatoid arthritis (RA), osteoporosis, and destructive bone metastases. Ongoing studies include identification of novel players and regulatory mechanisms of osteoclastogenesis and characterization of osteoclast-specific signature in metabolic bone diseases. We apply cutting edge cellular and molecular techniques including genome-wide sequencing and use various mouse models to accomplish the study. Please see the detailed projects in our lab website.
