Provide assistance to Pathways instructor in the classroom for students who have dropped out or are at risk of dropping out of traditional high school.
- Provide individual instruction to students.
- Assist instructor in class instruction.
- Assist instructor in class preparation.
- Monitor student behavior in the classroom.
- Assist in student record keeping.
- Assist with class field trips.
- Other job related duties as assigned.
Education:
High School or equivalent degree required. Associate degree preferred.
Experience:
Experience working with youth.
Knowledge:
Understanding of adolescent issues, good writing and math skills.
Personal:
Must be able to work well with others, flexible and understanding of student needs.
