Cutie Pie is the newest concept for our portfolio! It will be a quick service pizza restaurant and bar next door to our sister restaurant El Santo Taqueria and in front of our speakeasy style night club, El Santo. We are looking to scale both Cutie Pie and El Santo and are looking for someone who can help create systems and a concept that can scale and is excited about this growth opportunity.
Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced Operations Manager to oversee the daily operations of two quick service restaurants - Cutie Pie Pizza and El Santo Taqueria. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring efficient restaurant operations, maintaining high-quality standards, and optimizing profitability for both locations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage and coordinate day-to-day operations of both restaurants
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations, company policies, and local laws
- Develop and implement operational policies and procedures to maximize efficiency and productivity
- Monitor financial performance and prepare reports to present to upper management
- Develop and maintain relationships with suppliers, vendors, and local businesses
- Recruit, train, and manage staff to ensure consistent high-quality service
- Conduct regular performance evaluations and provide feedback to team members
- Manage inventory levels, order supplies and negotiate vendor contracts to ensure cost-effective operations
- Oversee the scheduling and deployment of staff to ensure optimal coverage and reduce labor costs
- Maintain high levels of cleanliness and hygiene across both restaurants
- Collaborate with marketing and advertising teams to develop promotions, marketing campaigns, and other initiatives to drive sales and enhance customer satisfaction
- Ensure proper maintenance of equipment and coordinate with repair technicians when necessary
- Handle customer complaints and provide satisfactory solutions
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration or relevant field
- 5+ years of experience in restaurant operations management
- Excellent leadership and people management skills
- Strong financial acumen and the ability to analyze financial data
- Excellent communication, problem-solving, and analytical skills
- Ability to multitask, prioritize, and work in a fast-paced environment
- Strong attention to detail and a commitment to excellence
- Knowledge of restaurant industry trends and best practices
