This role is for a Gratia client who is a commercial loan banker. You would be working part-time 5-10 hours a week to help the client optimize their current workflows and implement software solutions like Asana and Notion. This role necessitates a tech-savvy individual, who looks for leverage, researches the best tool, and loves to automate as much as possible in a sustainable way.

  • Workflow Automation: This individual is up to date on the latest startup technology and loves to leverage tools like Zapiar to automate workflows and save the team time. They have experience as a Process Engineer or Operations consultant and have implemented tools like Asana and Notion at a startup before.
  • Process Improvement: This individual always seeks to improve the process and implement structure where there is none. Instead of reactively taking direction, they are intentional about every move they make and thoughtful about the ripple effects of implementing new systems. This person has experience with optimizing processes and understanding workflow management.
  • Project Management: This role requires a detail-oriented individual who leads with an answer first, is proactive, and is able to make sure that not only are the trains going to the right locations and running on time but that they are also following the most efficient route possible to get there.

Required Skills:

  • A Bachelors Degree or relevant experience as a Process Engineer, Operations Consultant, Operations Analyst or Operations Manager in previous roles
  • Native or fluent English language skills, oral and written
  • Proven track record of process optimization, workflow automation, and experience implementing software solutions
  • 2-3+ years of experience with the latest tech stack solutions for startups: Notion, Asana, Zapier, etc.
  • Expert problem solver: no hiccup is too big or too small, this person loves using first principles to think critically about the best path forward when there is a fork in the road and recommend it to the CEO
  • An expert at ambiguity: someone who is willing to jump into a task without explicit instruction and figure out the best way to accomplish the goal
  • Proactive and curious: someone who approaches the work with an answer-first mindset and asks questions seeking to understand
  • Fast learner: we are a startup, things move quickly and we are flying the plane while still building the wings!
  • Ability to prioritize multiple competing priorities calmly and proactively communicate if they need assistance
  • A high degree of ownership: someone who works with a sense of urgency and wants to deliver top-caliber work consistently
  • Preferred:Experience working in an asynchronous remote environment
