We are seeking a full time, friendly, mature, strong, positive, reliable team player Front Office Receptionist for high volume/fast paced medical clinics in our Tracy and occasionally go to our Pleasanton and San Ramon locations (must be willing to be assigned to any of our 3 locations). Duties include:

• Greeting patients in a warm and welcoming demeanor,
• Taking patient’s temperature, and COVID-19 screening questions,
• Efficiently registering patients into the EMR system (Athena) by collecting accurate patient demographics and insurance information, verifying insurance coverage and eligibility.
• Checking patients in, scanning patient’s ID and insurance cards, checking all documentation are properly filled out and signed, scheduling appointments, collecting co-payments/balances,
• Prepping patient charts, verifying insurance coverage, and other clerical assignments.
• Rooming patients, completing patient intake information

The successful candidate will have a minimum of two years of front desk/customer service experience. They should have some knowledge of medical insurances, PPO, HMO, Worker Compensation, and Medicare. Previous computer experience with electronic appointment scheduling in Athena is a plus. Experience in Orthopedics a plus. Spanish speaking a must.
