We are seeking Full-Time Medical Assistants with experience in an outpatient or clinic setting with a high standard in customer service and professionalism. Bi-lingual in Spanish is a plus.

Primary job duties and proficiencies:

*Front Desk scheduling, patient check in and check out.
*Give injections.
*Explain procedures and treatments to patient.
*Patient charting and scheduling using Electronic Medical Records System.

General responsibilities for Medical Assistants:
*Provide outstanding care for clients.
*Perform front desk activities.
*Support patient flow from check in through check out.
*Assist providers during treatment and examination of patient.
*Maintain awareness of comfort and safety needs of patient.
*Work closely with physicians in a team environment to support treatment and educational plans of the physician.

The Medical Assistant works to support the clinical efforts of the team by using skills such as triage, assessment, and team conferencing. They take medical related telephone calls and maintain good relationships with all internal and external customers.

Recommended experience:
*Experience in clinic or healthcare setting.
*Experience in computerized systems EMR (eClinicalWorks), and Microsoft Office.
*Basic knowledge of insurance verification process and accurate data entry for insurance information.
*Demonstrate ability to work cooperatively in a team environment, maintain patient and organization confidentiality.
*Demonstrate energy and creativity; be a self-starter with confidence and can do attitude.
*Demonstrate strong communication skills, both oral and written.
