Marketing & Communications Consultant

For the Sentara Health Plans in Virginia Beach, VA.

This is a remote position considering candidates located in Virginia, West Virginia, Maryland, and North Carolina only.

Job Requirements:

• Experience with Salesforce preferred.

• 5 years of Marketing, Public Relations, Journalism, English, Communications, or related field required.
• Requires advanced desktop publishing experience.
• Experience with social media and Web site development.

Ensures that Optima Health communicates with its members effectively and accurately. The individual is responsible for writing (technical and creative), proofing, editing, managing multiple projects, and approving all printed and electronic communication prior to distribution to health plan members.

Ensures that Optima Health communicates with its customers effectively and accurately. The individual is responsible for writing (technical and creative), proofing, editing, and approving all printed and electronic communications prior to distribution to key audiences (health plan members, benefits administrators, brokers, employers, and physicians). The marketing consultant is also responsible for all aspects of graphic design for print and electronic publishing. 5 years of Marketing, Public Relations, Journalism, English, Communications or related field required. 5 years of print and Web graphics preferred. Requires advanced desktop publishing experience and competency in Adobe InDesign, Adobe Illustrator, Adobe Photoshop, Adobe Acrobat, electronic media publishing with Microsoft CMS tool, or other equivalent software. Experience with E-mail campaign management software and AutoRun Pro Enterprise (or any software used for production of print and online communications). Experience with social media and Web site development.
