Lead Dental Assistant
Job Description

We are hiring a seasoned lead dental assistant. 4 handed dentistry experience preferred. The team member we are looking for is energetic, organized, multi-tasker, self-motivated, team player and has a positive attitude. Candidate must be willing to work in both our Keokuk, IA and/or Quincy IL locations.

Job Entails:

• Seat and prepare the patient to be seen
• Prepare tray set ups for each appointment
• Take dental radiographs (x-rays)
• Perform digital scans on patients
• Anticipate and assist with dentist's needs for each patient
• Chairside assisting
• Type clinical notes as needed
• Manage infection control - prepare and sterilize instruments and equipment
• Provide patients with instructions for oral care following all dental treatment procedures
• Educate patients on appropriate oral hygiene strategies to maintain oral health
• Equipment maintenance
• Send and Receive Lab cases
• Help keep office clean
• Assist in all operatories as needed
• Travel between our offices may be necessary. Located in Quincy, IL and Keokuk, IA.

• Monday 10 am to 6:30 pm
• Tuesday - Thursday 7 am to 4:30 pm
• Friday 7 am to 3:30 pm (Occasionally)
