Holiday Beach Companies is five unique companies in one - we are all-inclusive from Real Estate, Development, Construction, Mechanical and Rentals. We offer the finest luxury vacation rentals throughout Florida's Panhandle.
Our Mechanical company is a rapidly growing HVAC, plumbing, and electrical company, managing construction and rental homes.
A DAY IN THE LIFE
The Landscaper will be tasked with the setup, maintenance, troubleshooting and repair of the landscape for our luxurious rental homes.
Job Requirement and Responsibilities Include:
- Problem solve and critically think of ways to improve the landscaping of our rental homes.
- Maintain and install lighting in the yard of the rental homes
- Sustain the upkeep of the yard
- Trim trees and maintain mulching, stone/rock, edging, and pruning of the lawn or yard.
- Soil and irrigation setup, troubleshoot and repair.
- Apply fertilizers and pesticides in an environmentally responsible manner
- Clean and maintain any stonework
- Remove leaves and debris from lawns, parking lots, and other surfaces.
Work Days
Normal work schedule is Monday - Friday, but must have the flexibility to work weekend, holidays, and after hours when required.
- Willing to work overtime when the situation arises.
QUALIFICATIONS
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Excellent communication skills
- Be knowledgeable or have the willingness to learn new skills.
- Excellent critical thinking and problem-solving ability
- Valid Driver's License
- Clean driving and background record
- Must have excellent prioritizing skills
- Detail oriented
- Mechanically inclined
Physical Requirements
- Must be able to climb, stoop, kneel, crouch, crawl, reach, stand, walk, push, pull, lift, grasp, twist, and bend for extended periods of time.
- Lift and carry material weighing up to 75 lbs.; occasionally lifting items weighing more than 100 lbs. with assistance.
- Ability to climb and utilize a ladder safely.
- Good physical fitness: hand-eye coordination and ability to quickly respond to sounds.
- Must be able to work indoors and outdoors, including outdoors in times of excessive heat and inclement weather
- Must be able to operate maintenance equipment
