HIRING: LABORER
Layton Services is an excavation company that has been family-owned & operated for 30+ years. We specialize in site work (mass excavation, building pads, sub-grade prep) and underground utilities (water, sanitary, storm). We are located in Newark with majority of our work in Columbus, Ohio.
Summary of Position: Responsible to perform physical labor on construction sites. May operate hand and power tools of all types. May clean and prepare sites, dig trenches, set braces to support sides of excavations and clean up debris. May assist other craft workers by laying pipe and operating heavy equipment as needed.
Education and/or Experience:
- Industry related experience is preferred
- Trenching and Excavating Certificate (can obtain once hired)
- 10 hour OSHA Certificate in construction (can obtain once hired)
- Reliable transportation
- Must possess the ability to relate well to others, a positive attitude and willingness to learn
