Responsibilities
- Responsible for management of Kanban material flows between Replenishment Warehouses, Production Areas and Consumption Points.
- Activities will include retrieval of empty Kanban containers / magnets from consumption areas, sorting of empty containers, and consolidating scanned containers for transport to the correct dock, work center, or replenishment warehouse.
- Responsible for scanning of 2D bar code labels to create planned replenishment orders, production orders and purchase orders.
- Supports New Knoxville Manufacturing Planning needs.
Requirements
- High school diploma or GED
- Background in business management, preferred.
- 3-5 years’ experience in material handling.
- Extensive computer skills are required across a variety of applications.
- Basic understanding of project management is necessary.
- Must be able to communicate professionally, across multiple departments and plants.
- Must be familiar with and able to manage in a modern Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) environment using software systems.
