Qualifications for the Insurance Sales Representative/Agent:

• Washington State Property & Casualty, Life & Health Insurance licenses (Must be able to obtain within 45 days of offer date)
• Must be coachable and eager to learn!
• Interest in marketing products and services based on customer needs
• Excellent communication skills
• Enthusiastic about the role insurance and financial products play in helping people manage the risks of everyday life, recover from the unexpected, and realize their dreams
• Proactive in problem solving
• Dedicated to friendly, timely customer service
• Ability to work in a team environment
• Achieve mutually agreed upon marketing goals

Responsibilities for the Insurance Sales Representative/Agent:

• Provide friendly and timely customer service including responding to inquiries regarding coverages, policy changes, insurance eligibility and billing
• Provide insurance quotes as requested for all products (home, auto, life & health) to new and existing customers
• Develop leads, schedule appointments, identify customer needs and market appropriate products and services

This position is with a State Farm independent contractor agent, not with State Farm Insurance Companies. Employees of State Farm agents must be able to successfully complete any applicable licensing requirements and training programs. State Farm agents are independent contractors who hire their own employees. State Farm agents’ employees are not employees of State Farm.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $36,000.00 - $60,000.00 per year
