Johnson Service Group is looking for an HR Analyst to work for one of our Clients in San Jose, CA (100% On-Site). This person will work in the HR Benefits Department assisting with FMLA, Cobra, hours, Retirees, etc.
Responsibilities:
- Run hours in Infor for FMLA eligibility and send initial FMLA Rights to employee
- Send emails when workers comp notifies Benefits.
- Complete back-end processing of separations/retirements including input COBRA info into P&A Group system, complete retiree roster, print & make copies of forms, create blue folder, pull all ID forms.
- Run retiree report and forward to correct contact.
- Process COBRA paperwork for new hires and overage dependents.
- Help with new hire folders pre and post onboarding.
- Process Telework, translation services & outside employment forms.
- Process “Service Credit Purchases” for employees; obtaining all their past time sheets along with the original offer letter, creating a spreadsheet on Excel and entering their weekly time and bi-weekly time, transferring over the bi-weekly hours into a CSV file and uploading their hours into the portal. follow up on e-mails from employees asking for status
Qualifications:
- Experience and knowledge of benefits and human resources (at least 5 years)
- Experience performing the duties listed above. (Does not have to be all areas)
- Experience with HR Information Systems (entering data, running reports)
- Bachelor’s Degree with major in Public Admin, Business Admin, Accounting, Finance or a related field, OR equivalent experience (Directly related experience may be substituted for the college requirement based on one and one-half years of experience for one year of education to a maximum of four years)
Rate: $50/hr
