Seeking a senior-level litigator (10+ years) with extensive Labor & Employment experience who would act as the Head of the Litigation Department for a plaintiff’s-side firm. Well-established firm in the LA area, exclusively represents employees in both state and federal courts, as well as arbitrations, which are becoming increasingly common. The firm covers all types of claims, including wrongful termination, harassment, discrimination, worker misclassification, clock/rest issues, etc.
The position requires an experienced attorney who is familiar with all stages of litigation and can hit the ground running. The core responsibilities of this role would be: representing clients in pre-trial settlement negotiations, arbitrations and trial, working to increase the overall revenue of the firm, supervising and overseeing the operations and general management of the department and its attorneys and support staff; streamlining the department's internal processes/protocols and so forth.
This is a terrific and unique opportunity to take a hands-on leadership role at a plaintiff’s firm with an established track record, a solid support team/structure and existing business already in place. Although the firm is LA-based, the position is FULLY REMOTE.
