Fleet Support Operator

9 Months Contract

Work shift (days/times) – Flexible hours; 40 hours a week (supporting a 24x7 shift structure; maybe necessary to work nights and weekends)

Job Description Summary
The Fleet Support Operator is a critical and active role to maintain optimal customer downtime using preventative digital tools and technical knowledge. You will work as part of a dedicated Global Renewables Remote Operations team within the Fleet Reliability organization supporting various Renewable Energy power assets to drive safety, quality, improved customer satisfaction, and velocity of response around remote turbine and wind farm operations.

Required Qualifications:

• Associates Degree in Related technical field (OR High School Diploma / GED with a minimum 2 years experience in industry-related experience)
• Must be willing to work out of an office in Schenectady NY, on a 24/7 rotating shift structure including potential on-call support as required;

Roles and Responsibilities

• Real-time monitoring and response of Renewable Energy power generating assets;
• Perform remote troubleshooting applying Remote Operations Center Fault Handling Procedures and Special Instructions;
• Escalate and communicate to next level of fleet support when remote troubleshooting is not effective ensuring to provide any relevant information to aid in additional support
• Interface with site team and customer operation center when observe network interruption or loss of communication between power assets and Monitoring System;
• Keep the information of the notifications created in the System update and organized;
• Monitor the ROC notifications for customer requests during the shift and take the necessary actions immediately;

Job Type: Contract

Salary: $22.50 per hour

• 8 hour shift
