About the Job:

We are a busy and growing, fun and progressive, professional yet casual, confidential Dental Office with an immediate opening for a full-time dental assistant with excellent communication skills. We offer a friendly, caring, teamwork atmosphere, a 4 1/2 -day work week, with Friday afternoons off, and competitive pay and benefits.

2 years of experience in dental field preferred, but we will train the right person. This is a great opportunity for both established assistants and individuals interested in starting a rewarding career working in the healthcare field. Ability to speak Spanish is a bonus.

Our team is busy and system-oriented. We prioritize the use of the latest technology (including digital x-rays and charting, to provide the highest quality patient care. The practice is very team-driven with an emphasis on collaboration versus working solo.

Pay $20.00 - $28.00 per hour, depending on experience.

• Have the ability to maintain a current dental assisting certification in Oklahoma
• Have the ability to maintain x-ray certification
• Have the willingness to learn patient care and dental assisting techniques
• Demonstrate a commitment to ongoing professional development
• Prioritize patient rapport and outstanding customer service
• Show a strong respect for all of your coworkers, regardless of position
• Are willing to abide by the practice’s protocols for patient care, room set up, and equipment sterilization
• Have a thorough understanding of the importance of taking dental histories and maintaining accurate patient records
• Have experience providing front office support, such as greeting patients, answering phones, scheduling, and maintaining patient records
• Are reliable and prompt; available for at least 36 hours per week

Your history likely shows:

• 1-2 years’ experience in a dental practice preferred or other office setting
• Completion of dental assistant school is preferred, but we are willing to train the right person
• Strong organizational and administrative skills – you see what needs to be done and do it
• Ability to multi-task, take initiative and anticipate needs of others
• Ability to project a positive, warm and professional image in person and on the phone
