Job Description

Essential Responsibilities:

• Selecting orders with accuracy and speed that meet or exceed our client goals.
• Efficiently retrieving orders using our technology and barcode scanners according to quantity and product accuracy.
• Loading and unloading trucks by using totes, jacks, and forklifts.
• Packaging products effectively in order to prevent damage and provide a positive experience for the end user.
• Processing orders with accuracy.
• Timely completion of training for the safe and effective use of various power equipment and machinery.

Qualifications/Requirements:

• Attendance and punctuality are a must, the daily schedule averages approximately 10 hours with mandatory seasonal attendance requirements.
• Must be willing to work mandatory overtime with reasonable advance notice.
• Must be able to frequently lift up to 50lbs, and push carts with significant weight.
• Must be able to walk for long periods of time throughout large facilities as well as potentially stand in one area for extended periods of time.
• Respectful verbal communication.
• Ability to work as part of a team and add value to the organization.
• Willingness to learn to effectively utilize the required technology.
• Must be able to pass a background check and drug screening.
• Must be 18 years or older.

Desired Characteristics:

• Moderate experience with and knowledge of android and windows operating systems.
• Prior warehouse/fulfillment experience preferred.
• Thrive in fast-paced environments.
• Have an eye for troubleshooting problems when they arise.
• Self-motivated and eager to accomplish your personal and professional goals.

Physical Requirements:

• Must be able to access and navigate each department at the organization’s facilities.
• Must be able to work on the warehouse floor including continuous time moving, regular transportation of freight up to 50 pounds (with team lifting heavier items), reaching, bending, carrying, etc.
• Constantly works in an environment where the temperature may fluctuate based on seasonality.

Shift(s): Monday-Friday, 8:30AM-5:00PM ET

Base Pay: $17.50/hr.

FLSA Exemption Status: Non-Exempt (Hourly)

Benefits:

• PTO: Employee shall be allotted 40 hours of paid time off (“PTO”) on the first of the month FOLLOWING 30 days of employment. Additionally, Employee shall accrue on a straight-line accrual per pay period an additional amount of PTO based on Employee’s tenure with Company according to the below accrual schedule.
• Insurance: On the first day of the month FOLLOWING 30 days of employment, Employee will be eligible to begin receiving benefits. Red Stag offers the employee a BCBS base plan at no cost to them. Dependents, buy-ups, dental, and vision are offered at additional cost.

MULTIPLE POSITIONS AVAILABLE

As part of a legally binding agreement with our employment agency, we have agreed to acknowledge that each agency spends considerable time and effort to locate, screen, and identify the skill sets of its Assigned Employees. We further agreed that Red Stag Fulfillment would not solicit the services of Assigned Employees, either directly or through another staffing agency. We will honor our agreement with our staffing agencies and will not hire agency employees outside the terms of our agreements.
