Support Group Facilitator - SPANISH SPEAKING.
This position is a (1099) Independent Contractor Position - NOT an employee.
In-person, part-time (2-8 hours per week) MFT/LMFT or LCSW.
The ideal candidate should live within a 10 mile radius of Sherman Oaks.
WeSPARK Cancer Support Center is seeking a Spanish Speaking Clinical Facilitator to facilitate our "Grupo de Apoyo en Espanol" and conduct intake appointments. WeSPARK offers various support groups from ongoing treatment/metastatic, post treatment, teen and young adult support to grief and caregiver support programs. We are currently looking for a bilingual facilitator with cancer patients, caregivers and/or experience with the general cancer population.
REQUIREMENTS:
- Required - MFT/LMFT or LCSW, minimum two years experience; health care field preferred (Interns are welcome to apply).
- Required - Copy of License to Practice and Personal Liability Insurance.
- Strong clinical assessment. Must be able to identify clinical risks and respond appropriately. Maintain standards of confidentiality (HIPAA).
- Must be bilingual English/Spanish, in writing and speaking required.
- Maintain positive, respectful and collaborative manner. Maintain good communications to ensure others have necessary information.
- Sensitivity to working with culturally diverse populations. Demonstrate great compassion for individuals with cancer and their loved ones.
- Good organizational, communication, verbal/written skills and time management skills.
- Must be computer-literate and familiar with a basic level of electronic records.
- Schedule is set depending on need.
