About the Role

Working in the company’s corporate headquarters and reporting directly to the Treasury Manager, the person in this role is responsible for various responsibilities including monthly financial statement consolidation, reconciling general ledger accounts, and supporting the Accounting department with special projects and process improvements.

You’ll Make a Difference By

• Monthly financial statement consolidation and reporting for multiple entities, including intercompany eliminations
• Coordinating monthly settlement and reconciliation of intercompany balances
• Reconciling general ledger accounts and perform variance analysis vs budget and prior year
• Becoming a liaison to connect the accounting department with other stakeholders in the company such as IT, Logistics, Retail Operations and Account Analysts
• Supporting month end, quarterly, and year end close activities
• Creating new general ledger accounts in SAP and maintain the Chart of Accounts
• Participating in the financial audit and preparation of audit schedules
• Supporting the Accounting department with special projects and process improvements

About You

• Bachelor’s Degree in Finance or Accounting.
• 4-5 Years of experience as an accountant
• Advanced in Microsoft Excel – highly efficient, lookup and reference functions, if statements, and data importing. Knowledge of SAP preferred and Adaptive a plus.
• Strong communication and analytical skills.
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced, deadline driven environment.
• Exceptional organization, prioritization, attention to detail, multi-tasking and time management skills.
• Positive attitude, highly professional demeanor, and a team player.
• Ability to operate independently with minimal supervision

The hourly range for this position is $39 - $43.50 per hour.

The salary is determined by the education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities of the applicant, internal equity, and alignment with market data for geographic locations. Ariat in good faith believes that this posted compensation range is accurate for this role at this location at the time of this posting. This range may be modified in the future.
