About the Business:

The Order Management team is responsible for delivering real time critical data to several big airlines on issuance or update of any electronic documents. Our Open Backend Analyzes the request received, filters and formats the data (several types feasible) to the users using a queuing system with guaranteed delivery. The users can then use it for a variety of operational, functional or intelligence demands. The existing architecture is based on Open backend, LQS, with a monitoring system in Python.

Summary of the role:

We are seeking a highly motivated and talented Trainee who enjoys technical challenges and are eager to design and deliver IT solutions that impact the business, social, and human facets of the travel industry. This will give you the opportunity to work with different technologies such as Python, C++, and Oracle Database while also working on improvements of the Publisher component in the Order Management Area.

In this role the Trainee will:

• Recommend new technical stack for event-based messaging that is guaranteed, resilient, scalable, and maintainable.
• Support rule engine capability at either generation and/or consumption phase.
• Suggest how the migration from one system to another can be done, or how they can co-exist for a period.

The Ideal candidate will:

• Have experience with Kafka, micro services, Kubernetes, S-Kube a plus.
• Perform office duties as necessary.
• Assist and learns from other professionals.
• Meet with other groups of the same organization to collaborate.
• Create a variety of reports.
• Have good communication skills and can work under pressure.
• Have high attention to details.
• Have the ability to act in a confidential manner.
• Have strong Teamwork and interpersonal skills.
