Austin SSC has an immediate need for fun and friendly folks to help coordinate and referee our social sports leagues in Austin, Buda/Kyle, Cedar Park/Leander, Pflugerville, and Round Rock. All that is needed is a working knowledge of and passion for sports, preferably with previous playing experience. We will teach you the rest!
Leagues play Sunday thru Thursday evenings. Typically 3-4 games per night. We also have occasional events and tournaments on Saturdays.
Referee Responsibilities:
- Provide a safe, fair, and fun atmosphere for all of our league players
- Transport and maintain league equipment
- Submit Scores and game reports
- Provide exceptional customer service to all players
- Greet and welcome all players
- Attend occasional referee meetings and happy hours
Applicants should be consistently available these nights, willing to work at least two nights per week, and willing to commit to eight consecutive weeks (our usual season length).

Candidates must be or become comfortable calling a game on the field. Sports knowledge and officiating experience is a plus, but we can also teach smart, committed individuals. If you are fun, outgoing, and social, we can teach to officiate sports.
You must be outgoing, social, fun to be around; have reliable transportation, be 21 or older, and be a team player.
