ROLE OVERVIEW
Having the passion for hospitality to create an exception guest experience within the restaurant, the Server provides an excellent guest dining experience, with recommendations of beverages to paired perfectly with each menu item. Constantly checking on each guest to ensure everything is to satisfaction.
KEY TASKS
Restaurant Operations
Continuously provide exceptional service to guests by being friendly, knowledgeable, and accommodating.
Ensures an exceptional dining experience by being attentive to guest needs throughout service.
Adheres to the Bourbon & Bones standard for steps of service including not auctioning off plates.
Ability to continuously learn whiskey, bourbon, wine, and craft cocktails to expand knowledge of menu and drink trends.
Advanced knowledge of menu to provide recommendations and accommodate guests food allergies/intolerances.
Responsible for cash handing including but notlimitedto securing form of payment for tabs,balancingcash receipts.
Responsible for adhering to all state liquor laws including verifying legal age for consumption.
Adheres to safety and sanitation procedures.
Completes assigned side-work to ensure shift readiness
Communication
Speak with others using clear and professional language.
Effectively listen and respond timely to guest needs.
Additional Responsibilities
Ability to site to stand, sit, or walk for an extended period.
Ability to move, lift, carry, push, pull and place objects weighing less than or equal to 50 pounds without assistance.
Ability to reach overhead and below knees including but not limited to bending, twisting, pulling, and stooping.
Have the flexibility to work shifts including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
Any other reasonable request/duty made by your supervisor.

KEY EXPERIENCE & EDUCATION
High School Diploma/GED or equivalent.
Must be 18 years of age or older.
RELATED WORK EXPERIENCE & CERTIFICATIONS
Minimum of 2 years serverexperiencerequired.
Previous fine dining experience preferred but not required.
Food HandlersCertification
Alcohol Service Licensing
SYSTEMS KNOWLEDGE
Systems Knowledge of Aloha not required but preferred.
Systems Knowledge of Hot Schedules not required but preferred.
