Overview:
JOB SUMMARY:
- Under direct supervision, will patrol assigned areas to ensure protection of clients, visitors, property, and equipment. Will control and monitor resort safety procedures as required or assigned by management.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Satisfying guest needs and exceeding their expectations by projecting a positive hotel image through proper grooming, appropriate verbal communication, and taking responsibility for guest needs.- Reporting on time for each shift.
- Dressed appropriately in uniform.
- Proper care and accountability for tools and supplies.
- Keeping records and logs as requested.
- Accounted for daily duties as assigned by Safety & Security Manager.
- Observes activity throughout the Resort on CCTV.
- Filling the incident/accident reports when necessary.
- Participate in emergency situations when necessary.
- Operate a variety of equipment and electronics.
- Informs and warns violators of rule infractions, such as trespassing, loitering, smoking, or carrying forbidden articles.
- Watches for and reports irregularities, such as security breaches, facility and safety hazards, and emergency situations; contacts emergency responders, such as police, fire, and/or ambulance personnel, as required.
- Performs periodic checks of alarm panels, fire extinguishers, and other safety equipment to ensure proper functioning; reports malfunctions as required.
- Patrols assigned area on foot, or in motor vehicle, as assigned, to ensure guest, personnel, building, and equipment security.
- Examines doors, windows, and gates to ensure security; uses client keys to open and close buildings; monitors closed buildings for unauthorized persons and/or suspicious activities.
- Conducts surveys, audits, and inspections to ensure a safe environment and compliance with safety rules and standards.
- Conducts job safety analyses, identifies problems, and recommends corrective action.
- Recommends procedures to ensure that employees are held accountable for their safety responsibilities.
OTHER FUNCTIONS:
Performing other duties as assigned by management.- Must be willing to work all shifts as assigned by Safety & Security Manager.
Qualifications:
QUALIFICATIONS:
Must have at least 1 year of experience in a relevant field.- Must have a clear criminal record, clear driving record and be willing to submit to a drug screen.
- Must have a valid Utah Private Security Officer License (Unarmed) or be capable of obtaining one within 90 days of employment.
- Must have previous experience with CCTV systems.
- Must have a minimum of 2 years of previous Guest Service experience.
