Join the "John Wayne: An American Experience," an exciting interactive experience coupled with retail space, located in the Stockyards in Fort Worth. We are looking for a few part-time Sales Associates to provide customer service support and sales in our John Wayne retail store.

The Sales Associate will assist customers with purchasing merchandise and operating cash registers, electronic scanners, and related equipment to conduct monetary transactions. This position will work closely with the Retail Manager and Key Holder to provide excellent customer service for the John Wayne: An American Experience, retail space.

Key Elements of the Role:

· Welcome, greet and interact with customers.

· Consult with customers to understand their needs and preferences related to merchandise.

· Demonstrate and explain merchandise, assist with selecting and suggesting options suitable for the customer’s needs.

· Answer customer’s questions about merchandise and assists with purchase decisions.

· Collects payment using the store point of sale system.

· Ensure accurate transactions by balancing the cash register at the beginning and end of shift, and sales at the end of shift.

· Retrieves merchandise from the sales floor, stock room, or other inventory locations, places special orders.

· Processes returns and exchanges according to store policy.

· Performs other related duties as assigned.

Experience/Education/ Skills:

· Excellent verbal communication skills.

· Excellent active listening skills.

· Excellent sales and customer service skills.

· Extensive knowledge of the merchandise sold.

· Ability to anticipate customers’ needs.

· Ability to recommend merchandise to customers.

· Ability to operate or to quickly learn the store’s point-of-sale system.

· Strong work ethic, responsive, and diligent

· Ability to work a flexible schedule

· Experience with online and retail ticketing systems a plus
