Description:

Global major hedge fund located in midtown New York City is currently looking to hire immediately Ruby Engineer consultant to join their internal application development. Back-end is written in Ruby on Rails, front-end is in React. Ideal candidate should have experience contributing to multiple simultaneous product efforts, is able to balance technical leadership with strong business judgement, strives for simplicity, and demonstrates significant creativity and high judgement.

2 – 5 years of hands-on experience in Ruby on Rails to support existing internal application with adding new features as well as supporting existing

• BS Degree or higher in Computer Science/Engineering; or equivalent experience
• React and AWS are a PLUS
• Supporting day to day maintenance
• Must be a self-starter, be able to work independently
• Excellent communication skills

In accordance with New York City’s Pay Transparency Law, the expected rate range for this role is $50 per hour to $75 per hour, rate does not include other forms of compensation or benefits.
