Critical Competencies

• Thorough knowledge of manufacturing standards and practices.
• Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists.
• Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.
• The ability to read, analyze, and interpret common scientific and technical journals, financial reports, drawings, and legal documents.
• Ability to respond to common inquiries or complaints from customers, regulatory agencies, or members of the business community.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills with ability to effectively present information to top management, public groups, and board of directors.

• Ability to work with mathematical concepts such as probability and statistical inference, and fundamentals of plane and solid geometry and trigonometry.

Education and Experience Requirements

• S. or B.A. (Bachelor’s Degree) or equivalent from a four-year accredited college or university in Engineering (Mechanical Engineering or Mechanical Engineering Technology) or other technical or business discipline; five or more years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• MBA is preferred
