Product Engineer - Lighting Job at Coronet

Coronet continues to grow and exceed expectations in producing high-end architectural luminaires quickly and efficiently. We are currently seeking a Product Engineer to join the Product Development team. The individual will be responsible for designing and developing new products and improving existing ones.

Primary Responsibilities

  • Work within the product development team to engineer new products from concept through production
  • Create 3D models and assemblies
  • Product documentation; including bills of materials, installation instructions, and specification data sheet.
  • Interact with suppliers to understand manufacturing restrictions
  • Work with manufacturing throughout development process to facilitate smooth transition of new products into production.
  • Creating construction drawings in AutoCAD
  • Manage multiple products at the same time
  • Evaluate product safety, appearance, and function to determine if design is practical

Skills and Knowledge

  • Product Development Experience a must
  • Light Experience Required
  • Mechanically inclined
  • 3-5 years’ experience
