We currently have an opening for a Postdoctoral Psychological Associate in our San Diego office.

Institutes of Health are leading interdisciplinary centers that provides high quality care to our patients who are involved in the Workers Compensation system. We have offices in San Diego, Riverside and El Centro. We specialize in treating Depression, Anxiety, PTSD, Chronic Pain disorders, Brain Injuries, Sleep problems/CBTi, and Weight Management. Our team is passionate about helping our patients within our creative and supportive work environment.

Every person that works at IOH is an important part of our team. We have weekly remote team meetings that have over 40+ staff involved discussing our patients' treatment plans.

Education is very important at IOH and we have internationally know leaders in their fields involved in our Grand Rounds along with in person and online trainings.

Primary Responsibilities:

• As part of our individual therapy treatment team your primary responsibilities would include psychological evaluations, administration of testing, report writing, and individual therapy treatments to address various issues including anxiety, PTSD, depression, chronic pain, sleep problems, or work stress.
• Hybrid in person and remote work schedule possible.

Required Qualifications:

• You must have a Doctorate in Psychology (Ph.D. or Psy.D.) and be eligible to register with the Board of Psychology in the State of California to become a Psychological Associate

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience working with any of the following areas: Depression, Anxiety, PTSD, Chronic pain, brain injuries, Workers’ Compensation, Medical/Legal, or Forensic evaluations.

• Strong communication skills, written and verbal
• Experience in psychological testing and evaluations
• Bilingual-Spanish and English is a plus, but not required.
